Looks interesting. And I love what people have been doing with the HL1 engine.

Contemplating a penetration attempt of a WPA2-PSK network, that I suspect is connected to a 50Mb/s fibre internet service... XD

Haven't read the specifics yet, but it is pre-alpha footage, so it might be understandable why graphics aren't that different yet.
I've yet to install SR3, it's sitting quietly on my library lol

Do it man, i must say the game is wayy better than gta 4 in terms of free roam, only driving is bad, but everything else is rock solid. The developers at Volition are real perverts, its full of non-veg humor.

Driving can't be any worse than on GTA 4 lol. But yes, I'm curious to try it, everyone seems to rave about how fun it is. However, I still have the MP version of Just Cause 2 to try first.

When you put it like that, no, however it would be the courteous thing to do. Your comment got cut off dude.

Hmm, I think I ended that one there intentionally lol, if I remember right anyway; I think I was just trying to point out that a spammy app posting on your behalf can say anything it wants, which could be bad

Yeah, I hate those. It's bad enough when you see it happening to friends.

Offline shooters are awesome for people who want storylines. For CoD-like multiplayer environments, there are already too many games that degrade the genre.
Overall, I'm hoping the engine is optimized, regardless of being demanding as it has been in the past :)

Don't know about optimization, metro 2033's performance was terrible though.

That it was, which kind of reminded me of the first Crysis game, meaning stunning graphics but messy code to boot.

I can imagine some people would cry about it and make a new account, I am considering deleting my account entirely.

Don't delete if there's any group or any jobsites you've liked, might provide u usefull updates. I hardly comment on anything in facebook though.

No, there is nothing important really. I would lose control over my Dragonheart Fortress page, but that does not bother me much right now, and Mikey is an administrator there anyway - so that's not a problem.

Wow this is promising, but too much price rip off http://www.anandtech.com/show/6940/amd-releases-new-radeon-memory-sku-rg2133-gamer-series

For that price you can actually spend ur money on buying a better GPU/CPU.

That said, do not skimp when choosing RAM, it is an important factor. Speed and latencies do matter.

Indeed, additional money can be put aside for other components but, as Benny said, having decent quality RAM (especially chip wise), it's important.

All these years i thought dynamic graphics mode was slow as hell. Never gave it a try for the past 1 yr especially after having updated drivers. Checked BF3 multiplayer. Here are the results, Fixed mode- res 800x600 min 28 max 35 avg 30. @ 1024X768 min 20, max 30, avg 22. Temp 80C. Now in dynamic mode @ 1024X768,i got min 30, max 51, avg 35. Temp 75C max. FTW :P

If CCC disappears, the solution is simple. Uninstall CCC alone by custom uninstall, then again install CCC only by custom installation. That's it!!

While music often can have soothing capabilities, not always.
I do understand quite well what it's like to have a restless mind, but trying to let your mind wander on the polar opposites of what's upsetting you can sometimes help as well.
